Development Plan:
Farmer made 4 barns each containing 250 cows i.e.
total 1000 cows. Also he has extra place to make one more.
Owner of farm and his sun (who now is manager of
this farm) had searched more and more and finally they decided to buy most
hi-tech milking machine: Autorotor Magnum 90!
By this 32 unit Mag90 now he milks
about 180 cows per hour it means that he milks 550 cows approximately in 3
hours. He said "this is the end of efficiency; milking 550 cows with 2 workers
during 3 hours with best quality milking process"
Herd management:
By this choice now he equipped to
most complete herd management tools:
Automatic Crowd gate pushes cows
smoothly in milking parlour. this Crowed gate can controlled manually by milkers
or drive automatically by computer i.e. movement of crowed gate controlled by
computer and based on platform’s speed and number of cows leaved parlour .
There is an identification frame on the earth before
cow entrance to parlour. This identification system reads cow identification
number from leg rescounters that fasten to front legs of cows and send it to
computer. also activity of cow that stored in it since she leaved milking
parlour past milking session sent to computer for further comprehensive analyses
to evaluate if she is in heat or not.
Any exception cows who identified automatically by
system (for example detected as in heat cow) or marked by vet or feed advisor
or milker at milking parlour can separated by Autoselect5000 gate. Farmer
simply programs sort gate at the evening before and what was once a time
consuming two person job, is now an easy task. There is also “less stress on the
cows”.
Also any cow after leaving milking parlour weights
by Taxatron5000 and sent individual weight of each cow to computer for further
analysis.
Strong, durable and more economic:
Main vacuum system is Air force vacuum on demand who
controlled by ABB speed controller. Airforce is most flexible vacuum pump who
never make more vacuum than you required. Farmer said "it is an important
economic viewpoint; spending energy for producing vacuum and losing it trough
air regulator! Is crazy work!"
There is 2 RPS2800 oil lubricated vacuum pump as
back up of Airforce vacuum pump.
Current situation:
The herd’s
average yield is around 9,5 Tons annually, with butter fat at 3.4 per cent and
protein at 3.35 percent. Milk from the herd is supplied to Shirnoosh Dairy Co.
This Milk
factory belonged to farmer and located near this farm.
The farm’s
current 60,000 somatic cell count. This very good SCC is the reason that milk
quality control organization selected this company as one of the milk producers
for schools.
Milking by low
level -38Kpa vacuum plus comfortable milking place with light music! and very
good initial stimulation are the reasons for cow to don’t like to leave the
milking parlour !
